Today, the grade sixes were fortunate enough to visit with Peter Raspberry at the Blair Outdoor Ed Centre to learn about biodiversity. After a short visit in the classroom (see another post for that) we left the centre to try out snowshoes on the recent snowfall. This was a first experience for many of the students. Check out the gallery below and a few of the short videos that Mrs. Losey took of the "Snowshoe Races". Have you even been snowshoeing before? If so, do you have any tips or tricks to share with others? What was your favourite snowshoeing memory? What part of the videos below was your favourite? Be sure to leave a comment below and let us know what you think! K. Losey
